In die somer soek tarentale bedags skuiling onder die stokke, maar in die winter laaf kapok en reën die heuwellandskap - en so laaf hierdie port ook die mond na 'n lekker ete. 'n Versnit van drie-en vyfjaar oue brandewynspiritus is gebruik vir fortifisering - en so maak hy 'n lyf warm teen die koue. The wine was fortified with a blend of three and five year old brandy spirits in 1992 and matured in 500 liter French oak casks that have been in use for over 50 years.  Won a double gold Veritas award in 2000.  Due to light filtering, it has a slight sediment in the bottle.  750 ml

RumKat Rum is crafted, aged and blended at the Grundheim family distillery.  Double matured, it rests in small American oak barrels and is rounded off in retoasted casks that formerly held dessert wine.  Only the best barrels are set aside for a perfect blend, a mysterious spirit for the free at heart. Taste mellowed wood with notes of vanilla, cinnamon and citrus, all finely balanced on a gently sweet backdrop of fine molasses.
