Tawny Port 1992 Krismisboks

Specially packed for Christmas 2021 in a wooden box with a signed card by Swepie le Roux, our cellar master who made this wine almost 30 years ago.  It’s a rare beauty.

In die somer soek tarentale bedags skuiling onder die stokke, maar in die winter laaf kapok en reën die heuwellandskap – en so laaf hierdie port ook die mond na ‘n lekker ete. ‘n Versnit van drie-en vyfjaar oue brandewynspiritus is gebruik vir fortifisering – en so maak hy ‘n lyf warm teen die koue.

The wine was fortified with a blend of three and five year old brandy spirits in 1992 and matured in 500 liter French oak casks that have been in use for over 50 years.  Won a double gold Veritas award in 2000.  Due to light filtering, it has a slight sediment in the bottle.  750 ml
